| How can I get this version of Avg and Sentinal to work togather. I pointed it to the avg.exe and the test still failed. |

Hello Helper - In order to use that version of AVG, use the following settings in Sentinel:
Point to AVGSCAN.exe and use the following command line arguments:
| Code: | | /EXT=* /NOBOOT /NOMEM /SCAN /NOSELF /NOHIMEM /ARC /LOG |
This will make sure AVG scans only the file selected; and it will also log the activities in its own internal test result feature.

AVGScan.exe (Ver. 7.1.405) doesn't work with that command line. But choosing other .exe files opens up the app... like avgcc.exe opens up the Control Center.

You're absolutely right Alan - AVG's new update breaks compatibility with Sentinel - as soon as I find a workaround I will post it here.
Thanks for the report! _________________ Runtimeware.com Software Developer

Alan: The workaround for now is to choose the Windows scanner version:
Exe file: avgw.exe
