In order to use AntiVir, use the following exe file:

AVNT.exe

Sentinel currently detects older version of AntiVir (pointing to AVWin.exe), however never versions of AntiVir require AVNT.exe to operate correctly.

Side Note: The QUIET mode in AntiVir does not work correctly when scanning files on-demand (the way Sentinel calls the anti-virus program) and will leave the DOS window visible after a scan has completed.

I'm currently running AntiVir and when I point Sentinel to avgnt.exe I don't get anything. From my understanding the avgnt.exe program is the realtime guard that sits in the system tray. But the avwin.exe program will bring up the program but that's all, it won't scan the two test files. Have any ideas on getting AntiVir to work?

Ok, I'm ignorant, guess I should have looked a little better, I do have a avnt.exe program. Now to figure out how to get that dos box to disappear.
